- Procurement of raw materials, engineering finished components and semi-finished components. Proficient with high-volume buying, receiving, and inventory control. Managed purchases worth $15 million CAD in 2004-05. Products purchased include steel angles, plates, bolts and nuts, conductors, insulators, earth wire, forgings and castings. Also purchased machinery equipment like tensioner and puller machines, multi-station presses and computer related accessories.
- Project monitoring and coordination of overhead construction transmission lines as per clients bar charts and delivery schedules. The contractual schedule is monitored with respect to actual progress of the project for procurement, supply and construction activities.

- Product development, prototype production and sourcing of (forgings, castings, machined and fabricated components) through vendors and in-house production facilities as per the specifications of UNICEF, UNDP and BIS. Managed purchases worth $4 million CAD in 1991-92.
- Quality inspection, material testing and field testing of components at fields and finalizing drawings for implementations in production. Final production, assembly of product, internal inspection, third party inspection from outside agency for pre-export dispatches and final billing to customer. Supervised a team of 30 personnel (which included 5 engineers and 10 technicians).

- Responsible for production, planning and co-ordination of assembly shop requirements. Tailor made machines were manufactured leading to a large number of components needing to be controlled for smooth assembly process.
- Managed production on different general-purpose machines (i.e. turning, milling, shaping, grinding, planning and boring sections) which were involved in components manufacturing, required for assembly shop. Worked with a team of 80 workers and 10 supervisors.

- Process planning for machine shop components by defining machine layouts, preparing process sequence planning, new jigs and fixtures planning for existing under production components. Worked on machined components, aluminum and steel castings, forgings used for automobile industries.
- Cost reduction and productivity improvement by introducing new production tools, atomization of jigs and fixtures, new machine trials and conducting capability studies. Monitoring new project implementations in respect of cost, time and quality.
