1. Assist in the development of solutions for a broad range of user problems;
2. Project Management
3. Development of applications (with Visual Basic + MS Access + Crystal Reports);
4. Interface with hardware/software vendors;
5. Database administration (Membership Management Information System developed in SQLBase and Centura)
6. Administration of the NUMSA’s WAN consisting of nine(9) Regional Offices connected to the Head Office via Diginet line (64K)
7. Ensure the running of the NUMSA' Wide Area Network (including System Management Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, SQL Server, Accpac running on a Citrix Winframe Server for remote sites, Membership System, Internet Information Server, etc ) and identify and correct problems;
8. Assist in the acquisition of hardware, software and all related technologies, and provide proposals and recommendations for the procurement of such technologies;
9. Conduct advisory work for all computer users in their areas of specialization;
10. Diagnose, propose and implement solutions to user problems (separate hardware and software problems and take the appropriate action);
11. Define, specify and write additional software routines to customize software products in use by NUMSA;
12. Installation, servicing and upgrading of the computer equipment;
13. Provide support for software in person and telephonically;
14. In charge of : - The Telephone Management System (STELLA NOVA)
- The Voice Mail System (UNISON)
- The Access Control System (IMPRO).
