Meetings

Shut Meeting scheduled for Mondays and closer to shut on Wednesday and Friday morning to coordinate the shut planning. In this meeting the updated barcharts is issued to every member attending the meeting, which included the MDT members.

SBT meeting (shift-based team). A list of notifications for the past 24 hours was discussed and compared with the production log sheets for the past three shifts to ensure that all necessary data is captured on SAP. Production shift foreman and Engineering foreman attended this meeting and provided me with their daily plan (scope of work) for the day. Safety, Housekeeping and General TPM (Business Controlled Maintenance) issues were discussed as well. The report from SBT Meeting was then carried over to the MDT.

Backlog Management and work in process meeting was held for a two-hour period on a Thursday afternoon. Foreman and Engineers attended and their backlog was discussed and forward planned and/or maintained on SAP to ensure that Master Data Records are updated.

Maintenance Management

Technical Objects (SAP PM)

  • Do Functional Location and Equipment Audits to ensure that the correct information is captured or/and updated.
  • ·Creating a correct Functional Location structure complete with Equipment, BOM’s (Bill of Materials) and Assembly’s

Maintenance Planning(SAP PM)

  • Ensure that all necessary Maintenance Plans,-Items and Task list are correct and updated in order to achieve a 0% Corrective Maintenance(Breakdowns).

Purchasing (SAP MM)

· Obtaining quotes from Vendors/Suppliers.

· Creating purchase requisitions for Maintenance Services, Rotable external repairs, Contracting Services/Projects and Resource hiring.

· Make sure authorisation process gets carried through, by the person responsible for the Purchase / Cost center.

· Make sure that Purchase orders are created on time and Service acceptances are done in order for payment to commence after goods have been delivered.

Performance Management

  • Performance reviews was conducted every 6 months
  • Planning Administrators objectives completed and rolled out

Department Training
