·         Managed SAP BASIS operations.  Responsible for planning, and executing all activities required to support Steady State Basis administration of R3, BW, APO and HR.

·         Responsible for creating and maintaining user profiles and roles in adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements to support SAP (R3, BW, APO, HR).

·         Conducted Lead sizing / capacity planning for new initiatives and mergers.

·         Responsible for DB upgrades and SAP system upgrades from AS/400 to i5 series.

·         Disaster recovery and performance tuning.

·         Maintains multi-landscape environments through remote copies, system refreshes, transport management.

·         Planning-system version upgrades, support stacks, small projects (languages, GUI rollouts, load testing).

·         Assesses impact of new SAP releases to current system landscape environments, design solution and assist production support teams in deploying the solution.

·         Disaster recovery (PPRC on ESS) and performance tuning

·         Investigates and participates in new technologies and solution from SAP and associated software vendors.

·         Basic SAP environment troubleshooting (R/3, APO, CRM, BW).

·         Basis related project management.

·         Participated in SAP 4.6C implementation.

·         Backup/recovery and performance tuning

·         Upgrade and software administration - upgrade and maintain SAP and associated technologies, and applies support packages, software patches and fixes.

·         Client administration - performs system refreshes, local and remote client copies, new client creation, client import/export.

·         Performance Monitoring and Tuning– use CCMS to maintain and monitor daily workload and performance, system logs, short dumps, trace files.

·         Conduct load balancing across active productive clients, maintain system profile parameters for performance, update operating modes, etc.,

·         Transport Management – approve and control productive client transports, maintain and ensure active tp directory at OS level.

·         Spool Administration, BCG job administration, batch session management, coordinate with backup teams, file system reorganization, etc.,

·         User Administration – Use PFCG to maintain profiles and manage user profiles
