Summary of Experience
I have worked on a number of
SAP projects including 5 complete installations through “go-live”. I believe
that the BASIS team when working properly is never the bottle-neck and I use my
experience to prevent problems and look ahead to what the SAP team and SAP
users need to complete the task.
Over twelve
(12) years of experience in SAP R/3 Basis Administration on a range of
platforms and databases. Over twenty years (20) years of IT experience in the
areas of system administration, database administration and programming.
Specialized in BASIS, ABAP, SAP R/3 Security, Installation and Upgrades, ASAP,
TMS, CCMS, BR Tools, SAPDBA, client copy, client import/export, SAP Router, hot
packs, support packages, database maintenance, backup, recovery,
troubleshooting, production support and daily Basis administration activities. I
am qualified for Unicode / ASCII codepage upgrades CSC.
I have
worked extensively with the new Netweaver 2004 & 2004s releases including
the ABAP, JAVA & ABAP/JAVA versions. These new releases pose an increased
workload for the BASIS group due to the many extra complexities over the
previous SAP versions up to 4.6c. I have several years experience installing
and configuring Solution Manager.
I worked
for SAP America
as a permanent member of staff and as contractor on five SAP projects in the
past 12 years. I have references from SAP America as well as previous SAP
clients. I have supported some clients on SAP for over 10 years.
