Project description: FI Consultant in charge of the EC-CS, SPL and GL modules.

Roles and Responsibilities :

·         Make a Gap Analysis to implement the global template according GAAP requirements.

·         Develop the Business Blue Print document with the “AS-IS” and the “TO-BE” functionality.

·         Adapt the SAP FI system for Local statutory requirements (Mex. GAAP) for Example: Inflation adjustments, taxes, etc.

·         Use SPL (Special Purpose Ledger) document splitting functionality by profit centers for Consolidation purposes (consolidation of US companies by Business Area).

·         Create a Roll up process to move GL balances from SPL to Consolidation (EC-CS).

·         Implement the EC-CS (Consolidation) for 5 companies using (Mex. GAAP) Intercomany eliminations and currency translation using B-15 rules.

·         Conduct several testing scenarios to verify that the local configuration does not affect other countries.

·         Train the key users to run the day to day transactions as well as the month end financial closing.

·         Work in the definition of several interfaces to upload beginning balances.

·         Check production environment which included production support.

·         Coordinate with Basis consultants to define user’s profiles for production.

Project description: FI Consultant in charge of the SEM-BCS module.

Roles and Responsibilities :

·         Creation of the Business Blue Print “AS_IS” and “To-BE” of the Consolidation of financial statements in different currencies: Mexican Pesos and US Dollars.

·         Definition of the interface from R/3 month end balances to BW Consolidation cubes.

·         Coordination and detailed configuration of the module SEM-BCS (Strategic Enterprise Management Business Consolidation System) consolidation of 70 companies, data entry, inters company eliminations, validations, multiple currency translation, etc.

·         Coordination and configuration of R/3 FI and interfaces to load data in to SEM-BCS.

·         Initial data load from legacy systems in to SEM-BCS.
