Responsibilities:
I am involved in various business operations and helped the organization to achieve cost-effective production with increased quality, efficiency and satisfied customer service.  Documenting the business process and identifying the system requirements and data and exception flow.  Due to my knowledge in SAP, I’m also involved in the user-training of SAP related Business process to future state users.  Produced quality monthly reports and commentaries to provide insights on drivers of the Service.

 

Projects:

Group Accounting and Reporting- Maintenance of Global Reference Data

Responsible for functional support regarding maintenance of global reference data in SAP. It covers plausibility checks on global account change requests, coordination and communication of changes to SMEs in Germany on its impact financial reporting (e.g. IFRS, HGB, BASTA), implementation of requests in global tables and uploading of reference data to SAP R/3 and BW global tables. The process also covers constant correspondence with people from all levels of organization as well as strict adherence to controls in placed on each processes in compliance with SOx.

 

Documentation and training on this process was held in Frankfurt, Germany for six months prior to successful migration in Manila, Philippines. Understanding of the process was documented via flow charts, SIPOC, FTE analysis, narratives and operations manual, all of which were approved both by Frankfurt and Manila Process Migration Committees. Knowledge sharing was also initiated whereby valuable information learned during the course of migration period was echoed to relevant teams within in the organization.

 

Recognized as key man in the project. Team was awarded by the organization as outstanding project (June 2008 Circle of Merit)

 

 

DB Americas - Maintenance of Reference Data

Providing SAP functional support to DB- Americas regarding maintenance of accounts in SAP FICO modules such as General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting and Internal Order modules.

 

Handled SAP based assignment of account owners in connection with management review process.

 

Well experienced in preparation and submission of management reports such as key performance indicators to relevant recipients in the organization.

Responsibilities as Accountant:

• Ensure integrity of financial reports thru efficient and accurate posting of entries in GL systems and assistance in monthly closing of books
• Timely submission of statutory and regulatory reports required from the company
• Strict adherence to SOx e.g. observance of four-eye principle
• Handles accurate and efficient processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements and agents’ commissions
• Timely filing and payment of corporate taxes
• Coordination with internal and external auditors regarding financial report requirements

Responsibilities as Accountant:

·                                 Handles SAP based processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements and cash advances

·                                 Demonstrated effective customer servicing by supplying complete information on invoice inquiries

·         Designated as the sole person authorized to interact with Managers worldwide regarding seeking approvals on request for SAP R3 user access.
