Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Perform as SAP BW developer across business functional areas:

• Meet with SAP Functional Analysts and business users to discuss user requirements, develop and document technical specifications, technical approach and time frame.

• Design, build, and implement technical solutions including SAP BW queries, reports, InfoCubes, DSO’s, multi-providers, APD’s and process chains.

• Support SAP BW application and architecture including performance monitoring and optimization.  Utilize SAP BW administrative tools to effectively tune process chain and report performance.  Proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Research new technology as directed by BI Architect to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.

• Communicate at the appropriate level with team members, management and end users.

• Interact with outside vendors/consultants in a professional and knowledgeable manner.

• Exhibit the ability to take initiative, work with minimal daily direction, and prioritize time effectively to deliver in a timely manner.

• Follow systems implementation methodology steps and maintain current documentation.

• Follow existing change management procedures and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained for all changes.  Follow established programming standards and procedures.

• Perform on call duties as required.

• Potential for minimal travel.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, business or related subject area from an accredited university or college or equivalent work experience.

• 4 plus years of experience with large and complex database management systems, business intelligence tools and systems.  2+ years SAP BW 7.0 experience. 

• In depth knowledge of SAP BW tools such as BEx Analyzer, BEx Query Designer, BEx Report Designer, Process Chains and Web Application Designer required. 

• Candidate should have experience with Logistics Extraction.

• Experience with APD, SAP Portal, Visual Composer, iView development, Information Broadcasting (Email Bursting), and / or ABAP programming a plus. 

• Knowledge of InfoObject level security and role creation is desired.
