Global Supply Chain Management
Summary of Position:
This position is expected to adhere to change management processes and Six Sigma methodology. This position will support project efforts to deliver best business practices using SAP, which may include benchmarking, gap analysis, change management, and post-implementation support. Job may require travel as needed (up to 10%).
- Consult with business users to develop functional specifications for required changes
- Configure and test SAP system changes, including changes from the development pool to ensure fulfillment of functional specifications
- Adhere to Six Sigma methodology for change management.
- Train users within the areas of SAP Supplier Relationship Management and SRM Master Data Management (MDM)
- Monitors assigned areas (SAP SRM) to ensure production systems are functioning as designed and implemented.
- Responsible for supporting all SAP SRM/MDM applications.
- Lead for SAP SRM projects.
- Create functional specifications for system changes.
- Perform configuration changes and provide training.
- Analyze problems and liaisons with development team and delivers tested results to users.
- Broad understanding of the entire horizontal process chain and targeted understanding of SAP SRM 5.0 and its integration with Catalog Management and SAP ECC 6.0 Supply Chain specific modules with specific focus on Materials Management.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years related business/consulting experience
- 3 years SAP SRM 5.0 configuration experience is a MUST
- Experience in managing user expectations
- Experience in system support
- Strong knowledge of SAP SRM configuration and integration points
- Recognizes potential problem areas and provides advice and direction on the use of technology tools and problem solving processes.
